Easy French Omelet Recipe


A French Omelet for One person cooks for less than a minute. Which makes it great for weekday quick meals for busy people. You can never go wrong with eggs lol


A French omelet is a classic dish that is simple to make and can be served for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Here is a simple recipe for making a French omelet:



What You Need


  1. 18-20 cm pan preferably no stick
  2. 1 Teaspoon butter
  3. Bowl
  4. 2-4 eggs ( 12-24g protein)
  5. 2 Tbsp Water, Milk or cream
  6. !/4 Tsp salt
  7. Finely chopped herbs


How to Cook The Omelet


  • Combine in a bowl the ingredients
  • Stir The ingredients together with a folk only until egg whites and yolk are combined ( do not over mix)
  • Pour Mix In a Pan hot pan containing 1 tsp butter which has been heated until straw-colored
  • Stir the mixture for 5 sec only . Tilt pan and lift the set edges to let the uncooked mixture run underneath
  • When egg is set but the top surface is still moist its time to fold the omelet or to fill with any filling you desire
  • Spoon in prepared filling on half of the omelet and fold the other half over the filling Slide or flip the cooked omelet onto the plate


Enjoy your French omelet! You can customize it with your choice of fillings, such as diced vegetables, cooked meats, cheese, or herbs
