My Quick Weekdays: Healthy Breakfast Recipes and Ideas + Crepes Recipe



Hello There ! Happy Friday . I just sharing one of my fav quick weekday healthy breakfast . I love crepes . I did not know how to make crepes . The first ones were disaster lol . Ok so officially they are my favorite go to easy to make weekdays breakfast . They are supper light especially if I have early training and I need something light , easy to digest before working out .

I do have them anytime lol


Crepes are a type of thin, French-style pancake that can be filled with a variety of sweet or savory ingredients. Here is a simple recipe for making crepes:


Ingredients:


1 cup all-purpose flour

2 eggs

1 cup milk

2 tablespoons butter, melted

1/4 teaspoon salt

Optional: 1 tablespoon sugar (for sweet crepes)


Instructions:


  1. In a blender or food processor, combine the flour, eggs, milk, melted butter, and salt (and sugar, if using). Blend until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  2. Heat a large nonstick pan over medium heat. Lightly coat the pan with cooking spray or a small amount of oil.
  3. Pour about 1/4 cup of the crepe batter into the pan, tilting the pan to spread the batter evenly. Cook the crepe for about 2 minutes, or until the edges start to turn golden brown.
  4. Carefully flip the crepe using a spatula or flip it using your fingers. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until the other side is golden brown.
  5. Transfer the crepe to a plate and repeat the process with the remaining batter, stacking the crepes on top of each other as they are cooked.
  6. Once all of the crepes are cooked, you can fill them with your desired filling and serve. Sweet fillings might include fruit, whipped cream, or chocolate spread, while savory fillings might include cheese, ham, and eggs.
